Here are just a few things you could do whilst staying with us:

  • Walk part (or all!) of the Cotswold Way National Trail
  • Take a trip to Manor Farm, where the cafe, shop and butchery are open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays and where kids will be amazed by the farm yard animals and ancient tithe barn.
  • Enjoy the Upton Cheyney Chilli Farm and visit the polytunnels for a spicy experience
  • Visit the historical town of Bath where you can see the Roman Baths, Abbey, many shops, restaurants and tours.
  • Pop in to the Upton Inn for a refreshing drink and some excellent local food.
  • Head to Bristol and visit the SS Great Britain, Millenium Square, Cabot Circus, the Clifton Suspension Bridge and much more.
  • Drop by Dyrham Park house which is surrounded by 272 acres of garden and rolling parkland. This is a grand baroque house with spectacular sweeping views towards Bristol
  • Have a round of golf at either of two courses situated within just a couple of miles of West Tyning –Tracey Park or Lansdowne.
  • Go to the races! Lansdowne Race Course is just a couple of miles away and holds regular meetings.
  • Enjoy the Upton Cheyneys local history which includes major events in the civil war, remains of Roman terraces and ancient rhubarb tunnels.
  • Dont forget to bring your dowsing rods as we are perched near to ley lines!
